Our Virtual Process

Most of our trader and hedge-fund clients use the "virtual process" (Internet) to trade online. These clients use their computers to manage their trading business from their home-office or other places of business (e.g., their jobs). These traders also prefer to use the virtual process to work with their professionals. Traders are not alone here, as our Internet-enabled non-trader clients also prefer the virtual process.

We all agree that the virtual process is better than the old-fashioned way of doing business for the following reasons:

Efficiency
The virtual process is more efficient. This saves you, the client, money in terms of our fees and your lost time. You no longer have to play phone tag with your accountant and/or attorney and lose a half-day or more traveling to your old-fashioned professional's office with a shoebox of papers.

Effectiveness & Reach
The virtual process allows you to pick the best firms in the country. You no longer are stuck choosing among your local firms, few of whom are experts in trader taxation and hedge-fund services.

Hedge-fund entrepreneurs from all around the country and world can now easily work with a leading CPA firm; they no longer need to also visit New York City, where many hedge-fund focused firms are concentrated.

Traders enjoy the lifestyle of small and large towns all around the country, and they don't need to rely on local firms who are generalists, not experts in trader taxation and hedge funds. Movie houses brought big city entertainment to every corner of America, and the Internet is bringing our leading trader and hedge fund Web site and professionals to everywhere as well.

Documentation
The virtual process involves mostly e-mails and some phone calls. Paperwork that cannot be e-mailed or faxed is sent by courier or priority mail. Clients like being able to refer back to all our written e-mail communications from our professionals. This prevents misunderstandings and items that can fall through the cracks. This way, our firms insure the fee on your job will be low.

Convenience
Clients find it a pain in the neck to visit their old-fashioned accountant’s offices. Many clients are even stuck making several trips, just to bring open items later on. Phone tag with secretaries and busy old-fashioned professionals who are unorganized in the Internet sense is a real pain. Our virtual process is almost painless, but let's not get carried away – taxes, accounting, audit and work still require the highest possible quality and can be a pain. Clients use our Web site, checklists, client organizers, guides and tools to get them organized. This saves money on our fees. Clients read our e-mails and reply when it is convenient for them. We almost always reply within an hour and never take more than a day. The process is very well organized.

Personal touch
We have a good relationship with our clients and provide a "personal touch" fostered by many "conversations" via e-mail and phone, year after year.

Whenever possible, we also enjoy meeting our clients face-to-face. We travel to trade shows around the country and meet many clients there.
